Court Operations Related to COVID-19

The courthouses and probation offices of the United States District Court for the District of Montana are open to the public.   There is no general mask requirement, but masks may be required for hearings before certain judges.

The following persons shall not enter any courthouse or probation office in the District of Montana:

• Persons who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have not been cleared by a doctor or health agency;

• Persons who are currently under a self-quarantine or isolation order by any doctor, hospital, or health agency;

• Persons experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
