Change in Requesting Remote Appearances

Wednesday, April 13, 2022

On April 13, 2022, the form changed from a making a request for remote appearance to filing a notice of remote appearance. The form is available here.

The following changes are also in effect:

1) Parties should submit one form per court date regardless of the number of matters they have on the calendar.

2) As the form is now a notice rather than a request, parties will only receive a response in the form of the Zoom link the afternoon before the hearing. This is due to the large number of cases that resolve prior to the hearing date.

3) Court staff will no longer forward the link to represented parties or witnesses. Counsel will be responsible for forwarding the Zoom link to their clients and witnesses. Self-represented, or pro se, parties will be responsible for forwarding the Zoom link to their witnesses.
