Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2020 (BAIA) - New CM/ECF events

Thursday, December 2, 2021

New CM/ECF events have been created to accommodate the Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2020 (BAIA) and the establishment of 11 U.S.C. § 330(e) providing for supplemental payments to chapter 7 trustees.

To request payment, use the Trustee Services Rendered Pursuant to 330(e) event. The system will not allow a request to be filed if one is already pending in the case. You must select one of the following options:

Conducted or filed a document required by rule or statute related to a meeting of creditors required by 11 U.S.C. Section 341
Filed a Report of No Distribution
    File a Notice of Assets
Filed a Motion or Notice to Dismiss or Convert the case or reviewed such a motion filed by another party in this case
File the Chapter 7 Trustees Final Report

Please also link the request to the appropriate docket entry.

After the payme nt has been processed, our finance department will notify the Clerks Office and the case administrator will enter the Trustee Payment Under 11 U.S.C. 330(e) Processed event which will include the total amount paid and the voucher number.

Requests may be withdrawn, prior or payment, by using the Withdrawal of Trustee Services Rendered event.

All three of these events are text only and will not generate an associated pdf document. They will receive docket numbers.
